Vested Accrued Retirement
A member with at least 5 years of creditable service at the date of termination of employment and not eligible for retirement will have a vested benefit determined and payable under the provisions of early retirement. A member may elect pre-retirement death benefit coverage provided such election is made within six months following the member's date of termination of employment.
