Eligibility


All regular City of St. Louis employees EXCEPT uniformed Police personnel and firefighters are members of the Employees Retirement System (ERS).

Police pensions are administered by the Police Retirement System of St. Louis.

Firefighters pensions are administered by the Firemen's Retirement System of St. Louis.

St. Louis Public Schools personnel are members of the Public School Retirement System of the City of St. Louis.

However, a number of smaller quasi-governmental agencies are served by the ERS. >> MORE
