Nature of Work
This is work monitoring, investigating, evaluating and consulting with contractual healthcare providers to assure compliance with professionally accepted standards of medical care and for instituting quality management processes to assist health care providers. This position will conduct site visits and medical chart audits with subcontractors and service providers to evaluate clinical and ancillary HIV related health services enabled through federally funded programs (Ryan White CARE Act, Title 1-RWTI And HOPWA). The incumbent will also conduct and analyze client surveys and/or client level data, stay abreast of the latest treatment and technology research, determine necessary improvements, and provide technical assistance and training as needed to subcontractors to insure understanding of medical developments and research advancements. Position requires use of the employee's personal vehicle. A mileage allowance will be paid.
Minimum Qualifications
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Missouri State board of Nursing, and some experience conducting research, providing direct HIV care, or monitoring and evaluating the quality of health care to HIV/AIDS patients;
OR, an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Licensure: Current license as a Registered Nurse issued by the Missouri State Board of Nursing or by a state having reciprocity with the State of Missouri. Applicants from other states with reciprocity must have a temporary permit as a registered nurse from the Missouri State Board of Nursing at the time of the oral interview.
Official proof of education and licensure must be submitted with the employment application or at the time of the oral interview.
Driver’s License: Must possess and maintain a valid Missouri driver’s license while employed by the City of St. Louis. Must be able to present license at time of the oral interview.
