Slay joined Sheriff James Murphy, Alderman Steve Gregali and City Counselor Patricia Hageman announced a new policy in which the City of St. Louis will no longer tolerate the long-held practice of landlords dumping tenants' belongings on the street. Effective June 13, 2005, landlords evicting tenants shall not place household goods, furnishings or any other personal property upon the street, sidewalk, area between the sidewalk and the curb, or in the alley.
