AME Church Conference to Meet in St. Louis
April 29, 2008 -- ST. LOUIS - Mayor Francis G. Slay and members of the African Methodist Episcopal Church held a news conference in the Mayor´s Office today to announce that the 48th Quadrennial of the AME Church General Conference will be held in St. Louis at America´s Center from July 4 - 11, 2008. The conference is expected to bring 40,000 visitors from around the globe to St. Louis. Homeless Veteran Receives Full Military Honors Service
