 First Time Homebuyer Program

Description:
First-time homebuyer program for low-moderate income families that provides comprehensive homebuyer education, credit and financial analysis, housing counseling, advocacy for purchasers, downpayment/closing cost assistance (to those who meet the requirements), and post-purchase follow-up. The program takes a minimum of 4-6 weeks to complete -- longer if credit issues need to be addressed.

Limitations:
Homebuyers must meet established HUD income guidelines (80% of Median Income) to qualify for financial assistance.  Must be able to qualify for low interest mortgage loan from bank or mortgage company.  Sales price of house and monthly mortgage payment must fit within ability to afford, as determined by extensive budget analysis by CCH.
