Christmas in April. Metro St. Louis is an affiliate of a national volunteer organization which revitalizes neighborhoods in partnership with the community by REHABILITATING THE HOUSES OF LOW-INCOME HOMEOWNERS, particularly the elderly and the disabled, so that they may continue to live independently in comfort and safety. Services are provided at NO COST to the homeowner. Christmas in April also renews neighborhoods by REBUILDING COMMUNITY CENTERS, PLAYGROUNDS AND OTHER COMMUNITY PROJECTS.

The Neighborhood Stabilization Team (NST). brings together City departments, the police, and neighborhood residents to SOLVE NEIGHBORHOOD PROBLEMS. There are 27 Neighborhood Stabilization Officers (NSOs)who serve all 79 City of St. Louis neighborhoods. This site will provide you with a map to find out which NSO serves your area.
