It is critical that youth be engaged in this city-wide effort if we are to have every student graduate. Prior to the Mayor's Summit, key stakeholders will assist youth in creating a mini-summit. Together, St. Louis youth will examine the issues they face and have the opportunity to express their opinions and offer solutions. Youth Development Task Force members, as well as school, faith, civic, business and community-based organizations, will identify youth leaders to assist in the design and implementation of the mini-summit. Youth Summit participants will be invited to present their findings at the Mayor's Summit and to participate in the strategic planning process. | |
