The Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts,is housed in a concrete building designed by reknown Japanese architect Tadao Ando. It holds the private art collection of Joseph Pulitzer, Jr. The Museum has been open since fall of 2001.

A building for the Forum for Contemporary Arts has been completed on the adjacent site immediately to the west.
