The Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center occupies 107,000 square feet within the Center for Advanced Medicine located at the corner of Forest Park Avenue and Euclid Avenue. The center, which opened in 2001, has a seperate entrance, dedicated elevators and lobby within the building. Inside the facility, new patients are evaluated by multispeciality oncology teams. The Siteman Cancer Center is the first NCI-designated Cancer Center in a 200-mile radius. The center is part of a $320 million renovation and expansion project of the BJC facilities.
