The circa 1907 warehouse building was converted into condominiums. The building has a restored two story lobby and an added five-story atrium to bring light to lower levels of the building.

First floor retail space is occupied by English Living, a furniture store, and The London Tea Room, a breakfast and lunch destination. Both stores were started by Pat & Alan Richardson (who are both from England), whose family helps run the businesses.

The Ely Walker project received the Better Downtown Award from Downtown St. Louis Partnership in 2007; the Better Downtown Awards are presented to projects with regional impact that call attention to downtown revitalization throughout the metropolitan area and beyond.
