Located in the Washington Ave. Historic District, 901 Washington was originally commissioned by Edward Mallinckrodt as a dry goods retail store and warehouse. The 1930s brought its conversion to a bank, and since 1979 the building had been left vacant.
Developer John Steffen of Pyramid Construction has converted the former Bank of St. Louis Building into 70 premium loft condos. Approximately 12,000 feet are available for commercial street space.
