This is the first phase of the McRee Town Development, a major development just north of I-44 that is being overseen by the Garden District Commission. McBride Homes has been selected to build on 6 blocks west of 39th street. McBride will offer three styles of homes: Row Houses that will vary in size between 900 and 1200 square feet; the Board Walk series that will be between 1200 and 2800 square feet; and the Cities Series which will replicate some homes in the area. All told, the intent is to build 140 homes on what are today some 234 parcels.
