Neighborhood Gardens Apartments is a City Landmark and is on the National Register of Historic Places. It was built in 1935, had 252 apartments at the time, and was inspired by European housing projects.
There are 144 apartments, 18 one bedroom and 126 two bedroom apartments of which 25% would be leased to low income tenants whose household income is no more than 50% of the regional median household income. The remaining 75% of the units would be made available at market rate.
