A new Drury Inn has been built in the Clifton Heights neighborhood at the southwest corner of I-44 and Hampton. Ten houses and a former restaurant will be razed to make the project possible. Charles Drury agreed to build 10 new houses in the 24th Ward to replace those that will be lost to the new hotel. Wilson Avenue between Esther and Sulphur Avenues is the location of the new five-story hotel which will offer 160 rooms.
