A cluster of new developments, sponsored by the Home Builders Associaton have been built in the old Gas Light Square area. Ten developers will build have homes as part of "Citirama." These housing models were constructed on several blocks of underutilized land on Olive between Boyle and Whittier in the Central West End Neighborhood. The homes maintain an urban feel with garages accessable only through an alley, and a maximum distance of 25 feet from the street to the front door.

A "Home-A-Rama" showcased this new development which will include condominiums with ground floor commercial space on the four corners of the block, with townhouses and detached housing in between. Jerry King of RJK, Inc. and Gregory Vatterott took the lead on the initiative. A second phase is underway to the east.

The total project cost is expected to be about $19.5 million. The TIF amount was $1.5 million.
