Various printing companies have occupied three buildings at the corner of Locust and 16th Streets. Eighty-one loft condominiums have been constructed in these two buildings with prices ranging from $89,900 to $339,000. The lofts range in size from 663 to 2628 square feet. Retail activity is anticipated on the ground floor.
Both buildings are on the National Register of Historic Places. The western building was formerly known as the Advertising or Mary Muffet building; it was constructed in 1917. The eastern building was called the Blackwell-Wielandy building; it was constructed in 1907. Both were designed by Albert B. Groves.
