The building at 333 Washington opened in 1963 as the Bel-Air East hotel. The recent renovation has included the construction of new interior walls, the enclosure of the building's balconies to make rooms larger, and the addition of arched windows at the base and the top of the building. Limestone and stucco-like materials have replaced the exterior metal and concrete to blend the building with the historical character of downtown.
The 16-story building has 190 guest rooms, a full service restaurant and bar, and a business center with 7,000 square feet of meeting rooms, and other amenities.
