The historic Coronado Hotel, built in 1925, has been renovated into a student-oriented building with 64 apartments, plus retail and office space. There is a first-floor restaurant and patio café, a high-end convenience store, a fitness center, banquet facilities, and other student-oriented retail facilities. There is a parking garage and also a roof-top pool. The student apartments are on floors 3 through 14, with four top floor penthouse lofts, aimed at university faculty and professionals.

The construction was carried out in two stages. The first was dedicated to the renovation of the hotel's 15-story tower for the one- two, and three-bedroom apartments, which helped finance the rest of the project.
