The talented professionals of the Circuit Attorney’s Office are dedicated to pursuing justice under the laws of the State of Missouri.
We do this by:
• utilizing our resources to continue to reduce the crime rate in St. Louis City,
• creating respectful and credible partnerships with all constituents,
• influencing legislation on behalf of victims and human rights,
• attracting and retaining the top law professionals in the country.
In addition to our efforts, we need you to be involved citizens of this community. You are the most powerful crime-fighting tool my office has. When we have victim and witness participation in our prosecution, our rate of conviction is nearly 100 percent. Even after conviction, when victims share their stories before the court, their involvement makes an important impact on sentencing.
Partnering with the community and developing strong, viable relationships with all of our citizens is vital to the pursuit of justice. Although there may be times when you may feel that there is nothing you can personally do to prevent or reduce crime, you have more power than you think.
While we can’t stop all crimes, by working together we can create a safer, more free community. Together, we are far more powerful than any one of us can be alone.
