Drug Court Diversion/Prosecution
Rochelle Woodiest
Director
The Circuit Attorney’s Drug Court Director works to make the community safer by helping and requiring defendants to overcome drug and alcohol abuse and to become productive citizens within our community. A person charged with a felony offense is screened for eligibility in the drug court program. They must successfully complete the program (sometimes lasting up to two years) or face proceeding to trial on criminal charges. The program involves intense drug treatment, therapy, job skills training, education and other social service participation. If they successfully complete the program then the charges pending against them will be dismissed.
