Community Affairs Bureau
Rachel A. Smith
Chief Prosecutor
Creating collaborative partnerships with the community is an important crime fighting tool for the Circuit Attorney’s Office. The Community Affairs Bureau enhances the crime prevention work of the Circuit Attorney’s Office by helping residents to address crime in their neighborhood. The CAB works with neighborhood groups, landlords, community agencies, elected officials, and public servants to enhance their understanding of the criminal justice system to debunk myths and rumors common in public forums.
The Community Affairs Bureau (CAB) is the Circuit Attorney’s link to the people of the City of St. Louis. The CAB allows for regular communication among the Office, police officers, and other governmental officials to deal with particular criminal problems or target locations.
If you want to learn more about how your criminal justice system operates or how you have the power to effect change in your community, contact the Community Affairs Bureau at 314-622-4941.
