Did you know only 15% of preschoolers ever undergo an eye exam? Unfortunately, many children are afflicted with vision problems that can affect their ability to learn and lead to permanent vision loss. Since 1995, the Missouri Lions Eye Research Foundation has screened 160,000 children through our Children’s Vision Screening program. From August 6-8, 2010, kids ages 6 months to 6 years are invited to be screened for the leading causes of childhood blindness at our largest free screening event.
