Block Party Permit (or other Street Events)

To request a permit for a block party you must:

Complete the Block Party Application Form and mail application no later than 30 days in advance of party.

Contact your Alderman, and request that he or she contact the Street Department to give approval.

Cost: Enclose $20.00 check for cost of permit, make check payable to the City of St. Louis.

Payment Method: Acceptable payment methods include cash, check, or money order. Credit cards are not accepted.

Observe Block Party Requirements

Permits fees are waived on National Night Out, when any block registered with the Neighborhood Stabilization Office - except those located on bus routes and major streets - may block off the street for one evening only. National Night Out is usually the first Tuesday evening in August.
