The Animal House Fund is raising money to help build a replacement for the City's current Animal Regulatory Center ("the pound"). Constructed in 1941, the City dog pound was primarily a “catch and kill” facility. No significant updates have been made since that time, and it is not a hospitable environment for promoting animal adoption.
Animal House is making efforts to change the focus to a rescue and rehabilitative facility and strives towards adopting out the majority of animals, but they need your help. A new facility is needed to accomplish this goal. Your in-kind or cash contributions would be greatly appreciated.
Ways to Contribute:
1) Send a check made out to The Animal House Fund to the address at right;
2) Contribute online via PayPal;
3) "Round-Up" for Animal House: add a few dollars onto your water bill, personal property tax bill, or real estate tax bill payment (if you live in the City of St. Louis).
