Blocking Permit (Dumpster Permit)
To obtain a dumpster permit, the applicant must know the date the dumpsters are being delivered, the date when the dumpster will be picked up, the address of where the dumpster will be delivered, and what type of job the dumpster is being used for. The applicant must have the permit before the dumpsters are delivered. There is no application form, but the applicant must come in person with the information mentioned above and the payment. Cost: For single, 2 or 3 family homes the cost of the dumpster is $10.00 per calendar week (Sunday through Saturday). More than 3 family homes the cost is $20.00 per day and all fees are paid in advance. Payment method: Cash, check, or money order are all acceptable forms of payment. Credit cards are not accepted.
