The Animal Regulatory Center (ARC) -- better known as the City Pound -- has many dogs, cats, puppies and kittens who need loving homes and are available for adoption.
The pet adoption fee is $49 ($34 for senior citizens), plus spay/neuter fees if the pet has not already had the surgery.
To adopt a pet at the ARC, you must be at least 21 years of age, apply in person, fill out an application form, and have your landlord's permission if you rent. You will also need to meet with an adoption counselor.
