Picnic Ground Permit
Contact the Parks Department for picnic ground permits for Forest Park, Willmore Park, Carondelet Park, and O’Fallon Park. Also, World’s Fair Pavilion (in Forest Park) and Kiener Plaza (downtown) picnic grounds permits differ in prices and availability. Procedure: 1. First familiarize yourself with the picnic site you wish to reserve. This can be done by going to the Picnics in City Parks webpage. 2. Check availability of the picnic site by calling Parks Department at (314) 289-5330. 3. Reservations must be made in person at least 2 weeks in advance. The earliest a reservation can be made is one year in advance, but it must be done on a business day after that date. 4. Prices vary depending on the picnic site and whether it is a weekday or weekend. For price information check the web site. 5. Payment must be made in person. Payment is due no later than 5 business days after the reservation was made. Payment must be made by check or money order (no cash). The payment is nonrefundable, not transferable, and there are no rain checks. Tower Grove Park Prices and availability vary depending on size of site, weekend vs weekday, covered vs uncovered.
