Weddings
There are many venues owned and operated by the City of St. Louis that would be excellent locations for wedding ceremonies and/or receptions. Also, Circuit Court judges are available to perform civil wedding ceremonies at no cost, but only on selected Fridays at the Civil Courts Building. See the related topic "Civil Wedding Ceremonies." See the related topic "Marriage Licenses" for information on obtaining a City of St. Louis Marriage License from the Recorder of Deeds at City Hall. Among these are: City Hall Rotunda. For rental information, please contact the City of St Louis, Board of Public Service, Office of Special Events, at (314) 589-6640. You also need to contact them if you wish to take wedding pictures in the Rotunda, free of charge. Piper Palm House.
