. The Duane Reed Gallery is excited to present the work of acclaimed artist, Cassandria Blackmore. The exhibition opens Friday, October 16th with an opening that evening from 5 – 8pm. The exhibition will run through November 14th.

Cassandria Blackmore is acclaimed for her unconventional approach to reverse painting. Blackmore was born in San Diego, California. She studied at Lewis & Clark College, Independent studies in Yorkshire, England, and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Pacific Northwest College of Art. She was awarded the Hauberg Fellowship for painting on glass. In 2006 she was honored as the Renwick Smithsonian artist of the month. She has been commissioned for public art and her work is collected internationally. Her work is exhibited in galleries from Scottsdale to New York.
